Dear Reader,

I am delighted to introduce this second volume of Algerian Advances in Neurosurgery Research. Neurosurgical training and practice are based on managing a wide range of complex clinical cases with expert knowledge, sound judgment, and skilled technical execution. Our goal in this series is to present exemplary cases report in the manner they are actually encountered in the neurosurgical clinic, hospital emergency department, and operating room.

This volume includes chapters on traumatology and spinal neurosurgery, hydrocephalus and hydatidosis management, as well as neurosurgical procedures in pregnancy.

Our goal is to provide a channel for displaying the scientific research works of Algerian neurosurgeons, as well as presenting them to the global community of academic researchers, sharing and exchanging their findings, and, last but not least, expanding the boundaries of current knowledge.
